DANIELLE J. LESURE-SOPHEAK was born in Harbor City and grew up in San Pedro, California.  She attended U.C. Santa Barbara, earning her B.A. in Law & Society in 2007.  During her college years, Danielle was a member of the Associated Students and Phi Alpha Delta.  She then went on to Pepperdine University School of Law where she obtained her J.D. in 2011.  During law school, she was a member of the Black Law Students Association.  Danielle was admitted to the California State Bar in 2016.

During her spare time, Danielle enjoys going to the beach with her husband and kids, eating authentic Mexican food, hiking, and thrift shopping.
