NICOLE M. TANAKA was born in China, was adopted, and grew up in Hawaii. She attended Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Nicole loved San Diego so much that she stayed local to attend California Western School of Law. While her law school career was entirely online during the COVID Pandemic, she earned her J.D. in April of 2022. During college and law school, Nicole volunteered with various church and children’s organizations.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys cooking and baking, taking her dogs Stanley and Sunny to the Coronado dog beach, reading, and going out with friends.
